The Eltham Writers Group
16 October @ 7pm – Eltham Library
Let us transport you to other worlds and back in time with stories of parties, mothers, battles, youthful yearnings and much more from the pens of local authors and brought to life by members of the Bob Hope Theatre company.
The stories, on the theme of ‘I Remember’, have been especially written by members of the Eltham Writers Group. They have taken as their inspiration this year’s ‘Elthamread’ book, ‘Bookworm’ by Lucy Mangan. Her book is a memoir of childhood reading.
Following the success of last year’s story evening event, the Eltham Writers Group have joined forces again with the Bob Hope Theatre who will be performing the stories, bringing them and their characters to life for the audience.
The Eltham Writers Group meets every second Monday of the month at the Eltham GPO pub, new members are always welcome. For more information www.elthamwritersgroup.co.uk.
